2022 DC ELITE PRODUCTIONS LODGING POLICY
Stars Over Mississippi is a Stay to Play Event. DC Elite Productions (DCEP) works with Oakwood Lodging to provide a wide variety of lodging partners close to our venue locations to secure team-friendly properties with competitive rates for all participants. For your team to be in the live draw and scheduled to play in this event your team must fit into one of the following three categories:
1. 14U, 16U, and 18U teams are REQUIRED to book via Oakwood Lodging.
NOTE: A minimum of 8 total room reservations per team is required. All of your required team rooms must be reserved (not blocked) by May 20, 2022. After this date, your team will be invoiced for the buyout amount and not be allowed to participate in the bracket draw until the buyout amount is satisfied in full.

2. 12U and local teams within 80 miles will be exempt. We determine the distance based on the team address that is registered in USSSA.
3. Teams who wish to stay outside of the event lodging options, such as campgrounds, RV parks, VRBO, etc., can choose to pay the Lodging Buyout of $300.
Any reservations booked through a third-party provider (i.e. directly with the hotel, Hotels.com, Expedia, Hotwire, Hotel Planners) or using reward points or booked outside of the event room blocks will not fulfill your requirement and require the lodging buyout to be paid or your team will NOT be scheduled into the event.
