Tournament weekends are a blast filled with excitement, competition, and a whole lot of softball!

With all the hustle and bustle, it is easy to let your health slip a bit. Here are some fun and effective ways to help you keep performing at your best on these action packed weekends!
Hydration Station: First things first: Always have your water bottle filled and ready to go! It is easy to forget to drink when you are caught up in the excitement of the game, but staying hydrated will help keep your energy levels high and help you recover faster!
Snack Attack!: Pack plenty of healthy snacks to keep your body fueled and ready to take the field! Protein packed snacks are a must have for weekends spent at the softball field!
Stretch It Out: Before every game take plenty of time to stretch! This helps aid in injury prevention, and it is a great opportunity to take a moment and practice your deep breaths to help with any pregame jitters!
Get Your Zzzz’s: Rest is essential on long tournament weekends! Try to get a good night’s sleep before the big day. If you have a big break between games, simply resting for twenty minutes can really improve your performance and mental focus!
Mind Over Matter: Stay mentally sharp and positive all weekend long by taking a moment to focus on your goals. Visualize yourself succeeding. Building confidence and staying calm and collected can make all the difference on the field!
